Description

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Freeport, Texas area:
Warehouse Clerk
4 On 4 Off Days (Weekends & Holidays)
12HR Shift (6AM-6PM)

Warehouse Clerk Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating truck arrivals and departures
    • Warehouse clerks ensure that trucks arrive and depart on time by checking paperwork and directing them to the correct dock.
  • Unloading trucks
    • Warehouse clerks unload delivery trucks and check that the contents match the delivery documents.
  • Maintaining inventory
    • Warehouse clerks keep track of incoming and outgoing shipments, and may also conduct quality control inspections.
  • Recording deliveries
    • Warehouse clerks record deliveries and enter stock and inventory information into a computer system.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
    • Warehouse clerks keep their work area clean and safe by following procedures and regulations.
 Clerks also talk to drivers, warehouse staff, and managers. They provide updates and resolve any issues that come up. Good communication skills are crucial for this role. Safety and Compliance: They make sure that all operations follow safety guidelines.

Warehouse Clerk Qualifications / Skills:

  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware
  • Strong typing and proficient data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Able to multitask and work independently
  • Strong command of English both oral and written
  • Great customer service skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Tech savvy

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High data entry experience or related office experience
  • Excellent knowledge in all Microsoft office programs
  • Clear background and drug screening

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, combustible dust, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Work area can be dusty and may at times require the use of a mask. Safety toed footwear, hard hat, and a reflective vest or shirt is required.
