BAGGING LINE SUPERVISOR
(HAMER FORM, FILL, SEAL (FFS) BAGGING LINE)
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate the bagging machine, and keep weights adjusted to provide an accurate weight of the product
• Operate the heat sealer, recognize, and assess problems with the sealing process and make the appropriate adjustments to ensure a quality seal
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates
• Observes machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
• Moving palleted materials around the facility, recording and reporting these movements
• Gathering and bundling customer orders according to company process, including documentation
• Practice good housekeeping and immediately clean up any spilled material safely
• Observe and report on any issues on the robotic palletizer
• Other duties may be assigned

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified candidates must possess the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
