The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Victoria, Texas area:

LUBE TECH / LUBRICATOR
4 x 10's + OT as needed


Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor & replace automatic grease dispensers
• Monitor and maintain oil levels in critical equipment
• Lubricate dryer bull gears
• Maintain graphite lube blocks on dryers
• Maintain and utilize portable oil conditioner (filter cart) as dictated by oil sample results
• Monitor oil filters on gearboxes and replace them when pressure differential dictates.
• Maintain oil transfer equipment for emptying and filling equipment
• Lubricate rail car progression system wire rope cables
• Maintain vibrator oil reservoirs
• Perform vibrator and air cannon repairs
• Manage area inventory of lubricants and auto greasers
• Provide response as needed to address deficiencies identified by the plant oil sample program
• Write up equipment needing additional repair
• Document completed duties and findings
• As needed, change oil in area equipment to ensure PM compliance. Examples may include pumps, gearboxes, centrifuges, centrifuges, etc.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to resolve issues to ensure reliable equipment operation
• Repair/replace lubrication labels, containers, grease guns, etc.
• Assist with off-loading of bulk oil to area storage tanks

• May involve work both indoors and outdoors, as well as in extreme hot or cold weather conditions. 
• May spend most of the work day standing on feet, and require bending, stooping, and/or squatting.
• May require working in cramped and uncomfortable conditions.
• May be required to climb about machinery and climb ladders, scaffolds, and catwalks.
• Must be able to wear respiratory equipment when required.

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all times.   This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.  The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.  All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
